Call for Book Chapter: Emerging Technologies in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry

We are pleased to announce a call for book chapter proposals for an upcoming publication on the “Emerging Technologies in Tourism and Hospitality Industry.” This book explores emerging technologies' utilization, impact, and potential in enhancing education and research in tourism and hospitality. We invite researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to contribute their expertise and insights to this comprehensive volume.

This book will be open-access and will be considered for indexing in Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO, and other popular databases and libraries.

About the Editors:

Dr Yashwant Rawal

Associate Professor, Parul Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Parul University, Gujrat, India. Dr Rawal has over 15 years of experience in both industry and academics. His expertise lies in the fields of Hospitality, Tourism, and Management. He has published over 64 research papers and 3 books in top indexing like Scopus, web of Science, and ABDC. Professor, Department of Management Studies Faculty of Commerce, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur With an extensive educational background encompassing BSc, MSc, MBA, and a PhD in Women Managers' career dynamics within the service industry, Dr. Patawari specializes in Marketing (Major), HRM (Minor), and Tourism. Dr. Patawari's leadership extends to various statutory bodies, where she has played vital roles in affiliation inspections, placement coordination, and editorial responsibilities, co-editing "Management of International Tourism Trends." Guidelines for Submission:

  1. Interested authors should submit an extended abstract (300-500 words) outlining the proposed book chapter, including the chapter's title, objectives, methodology, and key findings.
  2. The abstract should clearly demonstrate the chapter's relevance to the theme of the role of emerging technologies in education and research within the tourism and hospitality domain.
  3. Authors should include their full names, affiliations, contact details, and a brief biography (150 words) highlighting their expertise in the field.
  4. All submissions should be in English and follow the APA 7th Edition style guidelines for formatting and referencing.

Review Process:

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the editorial team. Accepted authors will be notified of their chapter's inclusion in the book and provided with further instructions for the full chapter submission.
