Journal History

HSSR got indexed in Scopus in November 2018. In June 2020 it is ranked in Q1 by Scimago. 

HSSR was started in 2013 with one volume and one issue. It started with the name of the International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS). But soon it registered with ISSN India with the new name of Humanities and Social Sciences Reviews (HSSR current name). Following is our publication history, with necessary data. 

In the year 2013, we published one volume and 11 articles. The article acceptance rate was around 95%

In the year 2014, we published one volume and 6 articles. The article acceptance rate was 100%

In the year 2015, we published two volumes and 10 articles. The article acceptance rate was around 83%

In the year 2016, we published two volumes and 11 articles. The article acceptance rate was around 85%

In the year 2017, we published two volumes and 17 articles. The article acceptance rate was around 77%

In the year 2018, we published three volumes and 35 articles. The article acceptance rate was around 70%

In the year 2019, we published six volumes and 771 articles. This year we decided to publish six issues each year. The article acceptance rate was around 65%

In the year 2020, till 30th May, we have published three regular issues and one special issue on Education. Total published articles 312. 

In 2021, GIAP Journals was acquired by Maya Global Education Society, India. 

At HSSR we promote the cross-border and cross-cultural exchange of thoughts and diversity in the team and articles. Articles of HSSR are highly viewed and read across the globe.
